Add Symbols and Accents to Letters:
Open a Google Document.
Click “Insert”, then “Symbols”, then “Special Characters”.
Choose “Latin” and “Phonetic (IPS)”.
Type the letter where you want it in the document.
Click “Control” and click the symbol.
Examples:
ǝ ā Ü ü ŏ à ȃ
Another tip: To get vertical lines like this |A| use Shift+\ to insert a line
